Five Favourite Friday... Rockabye Baby Covers

It's Friday once again, and that means it's time for another Five Favourite Friday post, Nikki has chosen songs by Rockabye Baby. Rockabye Baby produce covers of well established artist's well known songs and rearrange them to form instrumental lullabies. I originally came across these songs about 10 years when I went through a phase of trying to find different types of covers of songs, I can't remember which song I heard first but I loved the style and change of pace from some of the songs I was listening to at the time. Here we go:

1) Warning (originally by Green Day)

2) Clocks (originally by Coldplay)
3) Fat Bottomed Girls (originally by Queen)

4) Enter Sandman (originally by Metallica)

5) All You Need Is Love (originally by The Beatles)

There's not a huge amount to say about each song individually, but I like that the songs sound like the originals, as I've found some to be difficult sometime to work out what the songs are unless you know in advance. A note on 'All You Need Is Love', this version is the first song I made my son listen to when we got home from the hospital, so it holds a special place in my heart.

If you want to see Nikki's choices, make sure you head across to her blog,

I've decided that as next week is the start of the Formula 1 season, down in Melbourne, we're going to select our favourite F1 drivers!
